Travel. Transition. Transformation. Moving through places, perspectives and possibilities.
Do you have a wild offer, a meaningful project or a next step waiting to take shape? Join us for a co-creative adventure through a travelling retreat (why should retreats be in just one place?)
Over 4 days, we’ll travel—outwards and inwards—from Berlin to Wrocław. Along the way, you’ll explore what energises and nourishes you, including financially, and what you truly want to bring into the world.
We’ll embrace the movement, the in-between moments and even the friction of transition. Through creative play, reflection, honest conversations and practical experimentation, you’ll move towards greater clarity and confidence—and develop a first prototype of your wild offer, project or next step. Come with a question, an idea or the feeling that something new wants to emerge.

When?
4 days, 26-30 November (arrive by 5pm on Thursday 26 November, depart from 2pm on Monday 30th).
Where?
This is a travelling retreat, taking place between Berlin, Saxon Switzerland National Park and Wroclaw. We will travel by train between locations.
Who?
If you feel drawn to this travelling retreat then it is for you. It is open to anyone who is interested in meaningful connection, learning and growth. All ages/ genders/ backgrounds. Ruth and Mara are co-creating this space and will be your hosts and facilitators. We combine creative curiosity with more than 20 years of experience in facilitation, community work, innovation and systems change. Together, we have facilitated learning journeys, workshops, and communities across Europe, Africa and South America. Ruth brings a passion for nature-based facilitation and group experiences as an International Mountain Leader in training and Mara brings her lens as a systemic coach. We both practice and explore our creativity through multiple art forms (visual arts, music, writing, movement).
-
Participants are responsible for getting to Berlin. During the journey between countries and landscapes, we will go on a journey to develop your wild(est) idea, creating a first prototype along the way. We will weave together different methodologies and experiential learning, drawing on a rich facilitation and creative toolbox.
Costs
The participation fee is €390 per person at the solidarity rate, €500 at the standard rate, or €690 at the supporter rate. Train tickets and accommodation are booked and paid for separately by participants (approx. €300 in total). Restaurant meals are not included.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
The retreat is designed as a complete experience, and we strongly encourage participants to attend the full programme. If you would like to arrive later or leave earlier, please contact us in advance. We will be happy to discuss the available options with you (bearing in mind that it is a travelling retreat so options may be limited).

The retreat is designed as a travelling retreat. We’ll meet in Berlin on Thursday, 26 November at 5pm to have dinner together and get to know one another. You’re welcome to arrange your own accommodation for that night (see the question in the sign-up form). We’ll then travel to Saxon Switzerland National Park for some hiking before continuing to Wrocław. From there, we’ll take a direct train back to Berlin.
-
This retreat is open to anyone interested in personal growth, meaningful connection, learning, and exploring new places together. No prior experience is required—just curiosity, openness, and a willingness to connect with others.
-
The retreat combines creative group activities, reflection, easy hikes, and honest conversations. Along the way, you’ll explore what energises and nourishes you—including financially—and what you want to bring into the world. Through creative play and practical experimentation, you’ll work towards a first prototype of your wild offer, meaningful project, or next step.
Travelling is part of the experience, so we’ll spend a fair amount of time together on trains, making space for the movement and the in-between moments. There will also be free time for rest, personal reflection, and informal conversations.
We’ll cook some meals together and eat out on other days—we’re looking forward to exploring Wrocław’s food scene! :)
We will share a detailed schedule closer to the event. This is an experimental, co-creative format, with room for flexibility and for participants to help shape the experience. Come with a question, an idea, or simply the feeling that something new wants to emerge.
-
Rather than following a fully predetermined programme, participants are invited to actively shape parts of the retreat experience. We believe that meaningful learning and connection emerge when everyone contributes their ideas, perspectives, and energy. While the core framework is prepared by the facilitators, there will be opportunities to influence activities, discussions, and shared experiences throughout the retreat.
-
The participation fee is €390 per person at the solidarity rate, €500 at the standard rate, or €690 at the supporter rate. This includes the facilitated retreat programme, group activities, and materials. Train tickets and accommodation are booked and paid for separately by participants (approx. €300 in total). The retreat includes outdoor and movement-based activities, but no exceptional fitness level is required. Participants are encouraged to take part according to their own abilities and comfort levels. The minimum needed hiking is around 2.5 hours at an easy pace (in the national park), but this can be extended depending on the preferences of the group.
-
Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel, health, and accident insurance if desired or required. The organisers cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings, travel disruptions, illness, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances. Please check your insurance coverage before attending.

Wi-Fi may be available on some long-distance trains, but don’t count on it throughout the journey. If you’d like to stay connected, please make sure your mobile plan includes data coverage in both Germany and Poland.
We also encourage you to take this opportunity to disconnect from daily routines as much as feels right for you. A phone hotel will be provided :)
